It Won’t Be Long
Poetry
Time, time, time, time my friend,
it won’t be long ‘til life’s better again.
I’ve been there, too.
There’s nothing we can do,
but sit and wait,
leave it all to fate.
It won’t be long ‘til life’s better again,
time, time, time, time my friend.
Your womb is empty, a baby lost.
Loneliness leaves your heart cold as frost.
Hurricane winds threaten your kindred spirit,
tries tearing you down, your home with it.
Time, time, time, time my friend,
it won’t be long ‘til life’s better again.
I’ve been there, too
There’s nothing we can do,
but sit and wait
leave it all to fate.
It won’t be long ‘til life’s better again,
Time, time, time, time my friend.
